2 weeks after the Energy Excellence
Course:
Hi Amir
I can never tell you how grateful I am to you, for
giving me my life back. So a simple thank you will
have to suffice.
I have had only one incidence of feeling ill since
the course and stepping through the process once
sorted that out immediately. Previously, the only
choices I had were, bed or chair, book or television.
Now I can choose from all my old favourite activities.
I have walked or gardened every day and intend to
get back on my bike soon. I am 61 and have to build
up my muscles gradually. I can now go shopping by
myself and can look forward to my daughter coming
to stay next week. We are having a girl's day out
in Lincoln.
My husband says I look ten years younger
and the bags under my eyes have almost disappeared.
Next year, when I get fit enough and
loose some weight I am going to reward myself with
learning to ride (horses) a lifelong ambition.
Thanks once again,
Libby
Amir, thank you very much !!!!! Alan (Libby's husband)

6 weeks after the Energy Excellence
Course
Hi Amir, as promised this is my six
week update.
I have been ill for 8 years intermittently
and 5 years full time. I spent most of my time sitting
in my recliner chair either watching television
or reading a book (which always had to be something
like chicklit as my brain could not cope with anything
more intellectual). I became seriously institutionalised
in my home and illness and could only go out with
my husband’s co-operation and if well enough,
would sit in the car whilst he did the shopping,
so that at least I had something different to look
at.
The worst times were spent in bed,
week after week, feeling so ill that I wanted to
die. I can remember thinking that I wished I had
the sort of illness that was either ‘kill
or cure’ as I did not want to spend the rest
of my life in that state, as my Doctor had told
me I probably would. I think I became ill because
of 30 years in a very stressful marriage, but that’s
another story.
Before I became ill, I had a full
time job and a new and wonderful relationship. We
walked, cycled and played badminton in our spare
time and I was very keen on DIY, so no slouch then.
I had to leave my job and give up all activities.
My new husband could expect no support from me and
became my carer.
Then I learned of your course in Swansea
quite by chance whilst surfing the net. At first
I thought, no way, CFS is incurable. Then after
reading what had been written by your clients, I
eventually came round to the fact that I had to
try, as there was nothing else out there for me.
I can remember saying to my husband ‘I have
decided to go to Swansea’ and him replying
‘that makes life easier as I was going to
make you go!’
I still had no very high expectations
and when I read that people started getting better
from the first day, I decided I didn’t aspire
to that and that 4 – 6 weeks was fine by me.
But that’s exactly what happened to me.
When Amir asked on the first morning
of the course ‘how many people knew of someone
who had been successfully treated by him?’
and 75% of people put their hands up, that was the
start of my belief.
By the first evening I was so excited
at the thought of being well, that my feet hardly
touched the ground and my husband and I went out
for a good walk along the beach front in the Mumbles.
Amazing.
Since then I have been gradually picking
up the pieces of my life. I can walk, shop, do housework,
cook and garden. I have returned to my hobby of
writing and kick started this again by joining a
creative writing group. I have driven the 15 miles
to our nearest city to shop and can now go out alone.
Until you loose your independence you do not appreciate
its worth. We are traveling to Surrey (from Lincolnshire)
for Christmas and I can anticipate this with nothing
but joy.
